Commutator does not charge properly

Issue

Commutator charge life drops significantly, or device no longer charges.

Solution

Commutators and battery-powered amplifiers use the same 6 V center pin negative charger. Affected commutators have a deeper power socket, which the normal charger won't reach; they use a charger with a modified extended barrel. Verify you are using the correct charger before contacting TDT for support.
